It seems that I've trying not to listen the dude Skillz. Seems like now I will have to investisgate this guy cause although they are playin around he sounds hot. He has an album out The Million Dollar Backpack, I'll give it a listen and give my two cents (as I tend to do). And yeah did you notice the P-Tron? [lol] Looks like a fun drinking game for some hip hop heads.
New Jersey, New York, DC, Maryland, Los Angeles, Philadelphia, among a couple others are represented. Good music and some local favorites will be contributing to the projects. A bunch of hot up and coming artists will be receive exposure. "I" can't wait, you?
The Roots are the dopest. They are just the epitome of cool.. Def. hip hop but like I said before hip hop isn't a "specific" thing but The Roots are it. There is a space for all types of hip hop but The Philly Ambassadors of Hip Hop are definitely a premier component of the culture. Staying true to you makes you "hip hop" not doing what the masses is doing.
All my dudes involved in one post (J Smooth, Rik, NaS). Lookin forward to this video release.
I have never read an entire magazine or bought one for that matter but I am def. a fan now. All black models? Love it. And the Jay-Z spread can be seen at Kanye's blog... Vogue just got mad points in my book.
I've been working diligently since I got my baby back and new site will be up Sunday night/ Monday... I'm excited. And for those that bookmarked the blog when it was on "blog.html" sorry getting it all together. The blog is gonna be move one last time to blogger so posting is smoother. But yeah big things to come for Black Cloud. So I leave you with this "not even a preview Fall Collection".. until I have more to give you here you are.
This def. looks GOOD. I'm looking forward to watching it cause it appears it isn't just some bull one sided perspective. And i digg the acknowledgement that this isn't a story of "blacks" but story of "America". That's dope.
NaS - Black President / Barack Obama and The Future First Lady
Got an comment saying why so much NaS? Well NaS is one of my favorite all time and he's puttin good music out. This song is dope and about another cool dude, you might know him. ;) DOWNLOAD IT
Since NaS is making songs about my dude my not post something that was brought to my attention my Whoopi during The View. (I be bored at work and it's a good show) This gesture between the future President and first lady is just the coolest. If you want I can explain why it is and why he's a cool and good dude just hit me. lol
I love every race of people but the ignorant people out there just make the rest that aren't ignorant cringe. eg. Flavor Flav erks me ever time I see or hear him
I am posting this AS i listen to it... So far I'm feelin it I KNOW my DMV heads are goin crazy! Thus far im impressed as well.... My baby (i.e my mac is gettin restored to its glory w/ the programs I need to function so BlackCloud updates, new site coming soon enough. Be patient. I'm trying to, lol...) Enjoy.. WALE! DMV! :P lol Download It
Daytona - Lyrics To Go ft. Joel Ortiz & Kardinall / Busta Rhymes Blessed Album Cover
Where did the lyricist go for real though?... There Lupe Fiasco.... lol nah there some still some out there but more BS is kidnapping the culture. Not feelin it. At least someone else notices the ills that hip hop is facing. But didn't know who this Datona dude is or the Kardinall fella but Joel is one of the lyricist of or generation of hip hop. Daytona is ok Kardinall could have been omitted.
Busta looks to be putting together a pretty solid "album" for once. I'm really feelin the tracks he released thus far. Nothing too spectacular about this cover but hopefully the content is more interesting. Blessed drops July 1st.
You're not from anywhere if you don't have "Bodegas"
I came Temple and had some interesting conversations with some interesting people and some people in these desert places of the world DON'T HAVE BODEGAS! Me being from Jersey (REAL Jersey not Longbrach or any of that foolishness, lol) we have tons of Bodegas and when you were young (and now) there's nothing like a the neighborhood Bodega or CORNER STORE. Some people I run into are deprived and come from environments that don't even have CORNERS! WT_! So I am happy to share the experience through this video. These are kinda funny so I'll be posting some of there other stuff too.
New York-based architects Studio Dror have designed residential villas for Nurai, a resort on a natural island off the coast of Abu Dhabi. MORE bangin lil spots to rest.
