Inspiration Anyone?
As I dig deeper into designing I fid myself being inspired and NOT inspired by a lot of things. And during one of my many thrift shop expeditions I found this lil gem. I think to be good at what you do you have to watch what others do, ignore the rules and do you. I will def. be picking up many more.

Keri Hilson - Energy (Video)
After you've watch the video "guys" play it again and listen to the song its pretty good. Ms. Hilson has been secretly becoming one of my favorite writers on the 00's. Writing since 2001 for some of the biggest names in the industry she has got me and is getting her chance to get some shine. Chris Brown's "Young Love", Timbaland's "The Way I Are", helping with Omarion's "Ice Box" and Usher's "Love In This Club Pt.2" and "Red Light" amongst others she's dope. CHECK HER OUT

ClassyX
First let me introduce you to DeviantArt. The site is crazy. I've been on and off it for about three or four years now. But it's just a community online for artists. Every physical art form can be shared and experienced. And one of the many talented artists I was exposed was Hakim Satriyo or ClassyX from Jakarta, Indonesia. Dude is nice. The light, and feel is bananas. I would love to have him shoot our Fall Collection but we don't have it like that quite yet. So i'll have to just use the inspiration and ingenuity to get it done. Check out his blog or his Deviant page.

JERSEY!.. Jumpoff!
Joe is hot! And this is what we from Jersey have been waiting for people from Jersey to get on and put others on from Jersey. Not saying his lil homie is the Golden Ticket but s*** movements normally aren't done w/ one man (or woman). But wait til "973" gets on... problem.

Family Reunion!
Time out from work. Family keeps me grounded and going forward. without these "other" crazy people I wouldn't be me. When people of the same bloodline trek to Townsend, Delaware from Philadelphia and various parts of North Jersey def. can expect to have a good time.
*The picture above is JUST Jersey and still only SOME of the crazy crew.
And if I can dress it's because of the lady w/ the fro (moms), dude w/ the red shirt (brother) and ol' girl w/ the lox (sis).
Sly Fox (Update! VIDEO) / Jesse Jackson O'Bama Remark
Just as soon as I post the behind the scenes the "video" drops. Well here you go. I def. think they could have done more with the concept. I digg what its saying and the message but it didn't really do much for me? What about you?
Well we are talking about Fox.... More of Fox at work. I didn't see the original footage but yeah this what they do. You can't deny what Mr. Jackson said but yeah.. "Fuck Fox!"

Jazmine Sullivan - Need You Bad Video / U-N-I - K.R.E.A.M.
At the age of 20, musical prodigy and accomplished singer/songwriter Jazmine Sullivan already has nine years worth of experience under her belt in the music industry. She’s anything but a typical singer and just one listen to her voice will make you understand why some of music’s most respected artists like Stevie Wonder, Fantasia, Omarion, Faith Evans, Monica and Missy Elliott have all praised the legend in the making.
Just a brief timeline of some of Sullivan’s musical accomplishments is enough to make any artist blush. At 11, she made her national television debut on Showtime at the Apollo, where she sang “Accept What God Allows.” While most artists recount always being absorbed with music while they were younger, Sullivan’s first introduction to music began at church. “I remember singing like around five or six in the choir,” she says before recalling a particular incident. “I was in the junior choir, but I was the first child admitted into the young adult choir. I was so proud of myself and with the support of my family and church, I began singing.” As Sullivan got older, she began polishing her craft as well gaining an appreciation for other artists, such as Stevie Wonder, Aretha Franklin, Chaka Kahn, Lauryn Hill, Brandy, Mary J. Blige and Donny Hathaway. REST of article
This video came out last year but I just got on to it so there may be others to just get on to it too. But the video is pretty dope. Really like the Spike references. Gotta listen to some more of the dudes. Inglewood to Illtown. (dont mind that inside thing)

Nate Frizzell
"Riverside motherf***er!" lol [Random Juice quote. But he is from Riverside....CA] Dude is nice. Stuff like this keeps me motivated even if has nothing to do with things I'm doing. It's just inspirational. But I def. want to do pick up my pencil and pad again to just brush up on my skills.

NaS - Untitled & Unreleased
I listened to the whole album and its dope. I really enjoy it. At first I was in support of the title (like why not?) but I wasn't sure how NaS would execute the concept. He delivers. When I get the opportunity to I will get a review to you. And I noticed that most of the album is already available so I wont post the rest. Go buy it. I have it and I'm gonna go buy it.
This isn't on the album but it's cool.

Diddy on Hancock / Original Cool Kids
Diddy never heard of the black Power Ranger?!... lol nah. that is true MOST of the superheros were white and the black ones were rarely seen, played insignificant roles or were just sidekicks. So I am elated to see Hancock. There is fictional black hero and real black heros for the youth as well (O'Bama, Will etc).. Looking forward to seeing the movie.
I was only trying to find something different to listen to while doing nothing and what better than to brush up on the history of what you love. So I tripped upon the gem, DJ Jazzy Jeff & the Fresh Prince Rock The House (1987). Now I could only be late with this one since I wasn't heard for another two years. But I listened to it and it's crazy. Sounds like Mikey and Chuck only 20 years their senior. The rapper and DJ relationship was in full effect and they were having "fun". Gotta love the essence. It's still alive you just have to look past the bs.
Then I find this.
